Online lookup: You can enter the url of an online dictionary in the settings for a stack. (like these for German, Spanish & French) When entering a word the result of a lookup will be shown (the webpage) and you can copy text to paste it automatically in the answer field.
Special functions
- Can export a list of words to review as an 'exam', which is a pdf file with only the questions. Or as a CSV file with questions and answers. (export is via iTunes File Sharing)

SmartCard is the best app to learn flashcards on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
SmartCard allows you to add flashcard in a few different ways: You can add vocabulary flashcards them by looking up a word in an online dictionary. Or you can import existing files in the CSV-format and Teachmaster format with a few taps.
SmartCard also supports special text files ("SmartCard file"): Write the question of a flashcard on one line and the answer on the other and leave an empty line between cards. See the built-in Help to learn more, for example learn how to add multiple lines to cards.
It is also possible to download flashcards from quizlet.com directly from within the app. Search for a subject and view a preview of all the flashcards. Then simply tap Download to save it to the device.
SmartCard divides your flashcards into groups and further divides groups into lessons. When learning, you can select the lessons to learn. This way, you do not have to always learn everything. SmartCard can also automatically create lessons for you.
Boxes make learning even easier: New flashcards are always in Box 3. When you learn a flashcard and you know the answer, the card moves one box down. If you are for example learning a card in Box 4 and you knew it, it moves to Box 3. If you do not know the answer, it moves to Box 5. This way, the flashcards you know best are always in the lower boxes and the flashcards you do not know are in Box 5.
